EVAN

Evan is the owner & Veterinarian at Lennox Head Vet Clinic. He has been a vet for the past 35 years graduating from Sydney University. He has practised at the Lennox Head vet clinic for the past 16 years.

He previously worked in England for several years which is where he met his wonderful wife Terry, they have 2 grown children & recently lost their cat ‘Shelly’ of 17 years.

Evan has a keen interest in exotic pets, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology & science based medicine.

Outside of work, Evan likes being outdoors, martial arts, listening to live music & visual arts.

KRISTEN

Kristen is one of Lennox Head Vet Clinic’s dedicated veterinarians and has been with the clinic since 2019.


Kristen originally hails from Canada and graduated from veterinary school in 2005, working in both large and small animal practices before moving to Australia in 2016. Kristen has worked in both referral institutes and emergency departments, and has a keen interest in complex internal medicine cases.


Outside of work, Kristen enjoys the outdoors, surfing, running, and spending time with her family and two dogs Jeff and Fez.

STEPHEN

Stephen is one of Lennox Head Vet Clinic’s dedicated veterinarians and has been with the clinic for 3 years. Growing up in Western Australia, animals were always Steve’s passion, and he fulfilled a boyhood dream when he completed his degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 1985.

Steve built and operated a number of Veterinary Hospitals in Sydney, whilst also working as a presenter for Channel 9’s Today Show, producing award winning wildlife documentaries as well as regular mixed media contributions.

Steve has special interests in internal medicine, dermatology, oncology, dentistry and all wildlife, and when he’s not at LHVC he is busy with conservation projects such as Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital and Operation Sun Bear Borneo.
Steve was a founding director of Assistance Dogs for Independence, and has been the Patron of Zoo Peru and Wilderness Warriors.

He also co-founded Orangutan Foundation International Australia, and has led many ecotours globally.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his kids Nick and Pearl, cooking, travelling, going to the beach, movies, literature and spending time with friends.

TONI

Toni is one of the compassionate, devoted veterinarians here at Lennox Head Vet Clinic, and has been with the clinic since 2021.

Toni studied at Sydney University and graduated in 1996, working in emergency veterinary departments before moving back to the Northern Rivers. Apart from this time in Sydney, Toni has lived in the Northern Rivers for over 30 years.

Toni’s love for emergency work hasn’t faltered, and outside of general practice hours you can find Toni on the North Coast Emergency Vets team too. Toni also has a keen interest in ultrasonography, as well as surgery, pocket pets, wildlife and of course dog and cat medicine. When she’s not working, Toni enjoys walking her dogs Tia and Zahra, spending time at the beach, paddleboarding and enjoying local live music.

SOPHIA

Sophia is one of the amazing, dedicated veterinarians here at Lennox Head Vet Clinic, and has been with the clinic since 2021. Sophia grew up in Lennox Head and enjoys working within the beautiful community she knows well. For the last few years Sophia has been working as a vet in Denmark and America before returning back to the area. Sophia enjoys all aspects of veterinary surgery and medicine and is happy to treat all animals great and small. While not a work Sophia loves to ride her horses through town and along the sand dunes and enjoys nights painting or sewing.

LEONEY

Leoney is one of Lennox Head Vet’s amazing nurses. She has been a veterinary nurse for over 20 years & has practised at the Lennox Head Vet Clinic since 2014. Leoney hails from Victoria, but now lives in Broadwater with her partner Andrew & her tribe, which includes her 3 kids, 1 dog, 2 cats!


Leoney has a special interest in anaesthetics, wildlife & dentistry she also enjoys neonatal care & reproduction. Outside of work, Leoney loves to go camping with her family, playing basketball & watching her son play football.

KYLIE

Kylie is one of Lennox Head Vet’s wonderful nurses. She has been a veterinary nurse for 24 years & has practised at the Lennox Head vet clinic for 7 years.

Kylie lives in Skennars Head with her partner Grant, their 2 young boys, 2 dogs & a bird.
Kylie has a special interest in all surgery & emergency nursing.

Outside of work, Kylie loves to go camping with her family, reading a good book & spending time with her boys.

ALANA

Alana is one of Lennox Head vet’s amazing nurses. Alana has been a veterinary nurse since 2012, and has had experience both in general practice and emergency nursing. Alana lives in Ballina with her partner Sam, their two young children and their dog Harley.


Alana has a special interest in emergency & intensive care nursing, radiology & she also enjoys working with reptiles. Outside of work, Alana loves to read & travel the world, having visited 18 countries in the last 5 years

NATALIE

Natalie is one of our amazing nurses. Hailing from Victoria, Natalie has been veterinary nursing since 2012 and with Lennox Head Vet Clinic since June 2019 – as well as emergency nursing locally since 2021. Natalie has worked with animals around the world including bears, monkeys, pangolins, street dogs and most recently the ponies of the Gili islands.


Natalie has a keen interest in marine conservation, undertaking post-graduate studies in whale toxicology after completing marine and environmental science degrees in 2021. Within the clinic, she is particularly interested in wildlife, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, and canine behaviour. Between work and study, you can find Natalie enjoying the beach, her dogs, and plenty of adventure.

SAM

Sam is one of the wonderful nurses here at Lennox Head Vet Clinic and has been with the clinic on and off for the 12+ years she has been veterinary nursing.

Sam originally hails from Dubbo but grew up on property in the Northern Rivers which cemented her love for animals.

Sam has a keen interest in emergency and critical care nursing, and outside of general practice hours she nurses at Animal Emergency Services on the Gold Coast.

When she’s not working, you can find Sam enjoying weekends away, and spending time with her family including her hilarious toddler River, partner, and two border collies Ellie and Sadie.

MARCIA

Marcia is one of our amazing nurses. Marcia is originally from Brazil and has worked with both pets and wildlife for more than 10 years.

Marcia has a passion for sea turtles, having worked with them back home and now here with Australian Seabird Rescue on a regular basis.

Currently studying Marine Biology, she has an interest in marine animals and conservation. At the vet clinic, her interests include wildlife, surgery and pathology.

She likes to spend her free time in nature going surfing and diving.

TAHNEE

Tahnee is our wonderful receptionist here at LHVC. Tahnee hails from the Blue Mountains originally, but has lived up and down the NSW coast, as well as overseas, and now calls the Byron Shire home. 


Tahnee has a Bachelor of Zoology, a Certificate III Captive Animal Management, Certificate II Animal Studies, and most recently a Cert IV in Veterinary nursing (wildlife). A passionate animal advocate and conservationist, Tahnee completed an internship in Nepal with the Jane Goodall Institute, studying human-wildlife conflict, and is the Founder of conservation education platform End Extinction International. 


Tahnee loves making every patient feel welcome and safe, and her puppy cuddles are mandatory. Tahnee enjoys spending her free time in nature hiking and freediving.

ENZO

Enzo is the head of our security at the Lennox Head Vet clinic. We adopted him from a local rescue group 2 years ago as a kitten.

He enjoys spending time with rabbits & echidnas & specialises in keeping patients in hospital company.
His favourite past time is watching the water dragons out the window & rolling in rabbit straw.

He will do anything for his favourite chicken treat & we are working on getting him to sit on command.
